Branches
Upon registration, all Engineers and Geoscientists BC registrants are assigned to 1 of 15 regional branches, based on where they reside. Branches are led by an executive group composed of volunteers who serve as the registrants’ regional representatives and connect back to Engineers and Geoscientists BC's leadership team.
The branches play a vital role in the organization's interaction with both registrants and the public. Seminars, tours, and other events are organized by the branches year-round to create opportunities for continuing education and networking for registrants.

General Functions of the Branches and their Executives include:
- Providing direct regional communication with registrants.
- Organizing the delivery of local continuing education opportunities.
- Facilitating the efforts of the organization to increase public and student awareness of the value of engineering and geoscience.
- Coordinating local meetings and networking events.
Registrants are encouraged to become active in the affairs of their local branch. Important programs that are offered by many branches include career awareness initiatives for elementary students, organizing and judging of science fairs for secondary students, mentoring programs for trainees, coordination of continuing education opportunities for registrants, and facilitation of technical presentations.
