Apply if You Are an Engineering Registrant Elsewhere in Canada
If you are already registered as an engineer-in-training (EIT), professional engineer (P.Eng.), or professional licensee engineering (P.L.Eng.) with another Canadian regulator, you can apply for registration in BC through a streamlined process. Applying for registration in BC will not affect your status with the other Canadian regulator.
If you are a P.Eng. applying for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC and are registered or licensed elsewhere in Canada, you can also apply for your professional registration or licence with Engineers Nova Scotia, Engineers PEI, and/or Engineers Yukon using the same application form. Registrant-related fees will be charged by each province/territory.
If you are a former registrant of Engineers and Geoscientists BC and have maintained registration in another Canadian jurisdiction, your reinstatement application will be further expedited, and your requirements will be reduced.
Former Engineers and Geoscientists BC registrants, please see Category 2 on the Registration Reinstatement page.
