Misuse of Title Enforcement: Luke Moger
On March 6, 2018, Engineers and Geoscientists BC accepted a Letter of Undertaking from Luke Moger. In the letter, Moger acknowledged that he used the titles “project engineer” and “mining engineer” in connection with his name to refer to positions that he held with Mount Polley Mining Corporation, notwithstanding that Moger was not registered as a member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC or licensed to practise professional engineering in British Columbia, and that in doing so, he breached section 22 of the Engineers and Geoscientists Act

Upon becoming aware of the prohibition on his use of these titles, Mr. Moger promptly discontinued using them. He agreed to not use these, or any other titles that would imply he is a professional engineer or is authorized to practise professional engineering, unless and until he becomes a duly registered member or licensee of Engineers and Geoscientists BC.

The full text of the Letter of Undertaking agreed to by Mr. Moger as well as more information on misuse of title enforcement can be found here.
