Nominations Open for Board Candidates January 13

The Board governs the organization and sets policy and strategic direction to fulfill its regulatory mandate and support the core values. Elections for new members are held annually in late summer.
Serving on the Board offers a meaningful opportunity to give back to the professions, protect the public and the environment, and ensure that engineers and geoscientists make a lasting and positive impact in BC.
To recognize the time commitment required for these roles, Board members receive compensation for meeting time and related travel expenses.
Applications are encouraged from individuals from diverse communities, including but not limited to, those with different genders, orientations, ethnicities, professional backgrounds, and lived experiences.
Nomination Process
Nominations for Board members will be accepted until March 14, at 5 PM. More information about qualifications and requirements is available on the nominations webpage (after January 13).
After the nomination period closes, the Nomination Committee will review all applications and select nominees for the 2025 election. It is expected that registrants will elect one Board member in 2025. Elected Board members serve a three-year term.
