Sign Up Now for the 30 by 30 Conference in Vancouver
Registration is now open for this year’s 30 by 30 Conference being held in Vancouver on May 21.

The 30 by 30 Conference is an annual gathering of leaders within the engineering profession who are actively working to address gender equity in the profession. The 2025 conference is co-hosted by Engineers Canada and Engineers and Geoscientists BC, along with local partner ACEC-BC and is themed “Solutions and accountability towards an inclusive engineering profession.”

“We are pleased to support the 30 by 30 Conference 2025 as part of our commitment to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion within the professions we regulate,” said Sneha Satheendran, Manager, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Engineers and Geoscientists BC. “We invite our registrants to join us in this endeavour as we support initiatives that contribute to fair and inclusive professional environments.”

The event brings together leaders from engineering regulation, employers, and education to address barriers within their control and influence, collaborate on innovative solutions, and promote accountability for fostering the success of women and marginalized groups in the profession.

The day-long conference features world-class, cutting-edge speakers:

  • Engineers Canada President and past president of Engineers and Geoscientists BC, Dr. Michael Wrinch, P.Eng., FEC, ICD.D, will welcome attendees to the conference.
  • Two-time Olympian Karina LeBlanc, of Maple Ridge, BC, will provide the keynote address.
  • ACEC-BC's Marcie Cochrane, MBA, P.Eng., will join PRA Inc. in presenting a session about the obstacles and opportunities of data collection for gender representation.
  • Vancouver’s Dr. Hilary Curry — a LEGO Serious Play facilitator and an expert in organizational development and effectiveness — will lead attendees through a workshop called “Engineering System Change for Gender Equity.”

The conference will close out with Engineers and Geoscientists BC CEO Heidi Yang, P.Eng., FEC, FGC (Hon.), joining Engineers Canada CEO Philip Rizcallah, P.Eng., for a fireside chat about what comes next for 30 by 30.
