Time for Firms to Renew Permit to Practice

Responsible Registrants of registrant firms must keep their Permit to Practice in good standing by completing the annual renewal process that includes updating their information and paying a fee by May 31.
How to Renew
Responsible Registrants need to know the following:The renewal process is now open and can be accessed through a Responsible Registrant’s account by logging in at egbc.ca or by visiting the Renew Your Permit to Practice page. - Firm information must be updated and accompanied by fee payment for the renewal process to be complete.
- Deadline to complete the renewal is May 31, 2024.
Failure to Complete Permit Renewal
If the Permit to Practice renewal is not completed by May 31, 2024, late fees will be applied. Registrant firms who fail to renew their Permit to Practice by June 30, 2024, will be prohibited from practising in accordance with Engineers and Geoscientists
If the renewal is not completed and fees are not paid by August 31, the registrant firm will have their Permit to Practice cancelled.
