Canadian Urban Institute (CUI)Climate Ready Infrastructure Service
The Climate Ready Infrastructure Service (CRIS) is a capacity-building initiative managed by the Canadian Urban Institute and funded by the Government of Canada. It aims to help local governments across Canada develop infrastructure that is resilient to climate change. CRIS connects communities with top climate experts who provide guidance and technical advice on integrating low-carbon resilience into infrastructure projects. This service supports projects such as water systems, transportation, and buildings, ensuring they can withstand extreme weather events and other climate-related challenges.
Fraser Basin CouncilReTooling for Climate Change
The ReTooling for Climate Change site contains tools and resources targeted at local governments, First Nations, and natural resource sectors to prepare for the impacts of climate change.
ICLEI Canada: Local Governments for Sustainability CanadaBuilding Adaptive and Resilient Communities (BARC) Network
ICLEI Canada works to engage and support communities preparing for climate change. The BARC Network is a simple platform for those who want to stay in touch on adaptation and resilience, remain informed, and become connected with climate change colleagues from across the country.
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)Adaptation Platform
The Adaptation Platform brings together key groups from government, industry, and professional organizations. It provides a structure to pool knowledge, capacity, and financial resources. This platform allows the user to apply to join a working group so they can collaborate with people who have expertise on a common interest.
Resilience by Design LabThe Adaptation Learning Network is helping professionals in British Columbia who work at the front line of climate adaptation to integrate adaptation competencies into their professional practice through education, training and networking.

Adaptation Learning Network is led by the Resilience by Design Lab at Royal Roads University. The project is supported by the Climate Action Secretariat of the BC Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Strategy and Natural Resources Canada through its Building Regional Adaptation Capacity and Expertise (BRACE) program.
