Engineers and Geoscientists BC has several resources available for educators to help encourage students to explore math and science. We want to inspire the next generation of engineers and geoscientists to pursue a career in engineering and geoscience.
Engineers and geoscientists use their technical expertise to protect the public. From providing seismic upgrades to schools, to finding minerals deep beneath the earth’s surface which make your smart phone work, engineers and geoscientists are at work all around you improving the world that you live in.
Lesson Plans
Engineers and Geoscientists BC has developed lesson plans to help educators engage students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). These lesson plans have direct links to the BC curriculum and also highlight the role of engineers and geoscientists in everyday life. Lesson plans are currently available for Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4 students.
